Is chat a separate feature or an add-on to Traize?

Neither. Chat and Traize are one product, built for and with each other. Traize processes your knowledge in the background, chat is the surface you reach it through at any time.

How does chat know what I am talking about?

It reads your context: where you are in Traize and which person, project or document is in focus. You can also drag an entity into the chat, and your question then refers to it directly.

Does voice input run locally or through an external service?

Instead of typing you can also speak your question. Transcription runs through a swappable engine, either via an API or self hosted depending on configuration, so control over your infrastructure stays with you.

Can I pick the language model myself?

Traize isn't tied to a single vendor, it's built on a broad model catalog. A model navigator helps you find the right model for your use case.
